Zohra Rahman Jewellery is specially handcrafted using traditional techniques, making each piece exclusive and unique. Due to the delicate nature of Jewellery, special care is required.
All stone set jewellery should be handled with extra care and consideration when worn. to protect the setting as well as safeguarding the gemstone.
Tarnishing is a natural characteristic of Silver and Copper hence, the jewellery will need cleaning ever so often. Rub with an anti-tarnish jewellery polishing cloth to restore the original brilliance of the surface. However, contact should be avoided on patinated areas to protect the surface treatment.
Store your jewellery away from exposure to air and in dry conditions. To prevent scratching and entanglement, keep your pieces separately. If you wear your gold-plated jewellery for a significant period of time, the plating will eventually wear down. Although, gold-plated jewellery will not tarnish, it will get dirty with wear and lotions, perfumes and moist conditions will corrode it faster.
Be gentle with the links, posts and clasps, as they can bend or break under force. Jewellery should always be the last thing you put on and the first thing to come off while dressing.
